Jaguar en la Ecoregión Lachuá, Guatemala / Jaguar in the Ecoregion Lachua, Guatemala (by ORCONDECO)
This is a great sign. We got this from a conservation biologist that Idea Wild supports. They also sent us a photo of a pregnant jaguar. This is in Laguna Lachua National Park in Guatemala, and these shots are evidence that conservation efforts have been working in this area. The photos we got were the first of a pregnant jaguar in 9 years. So this is a big deal, a very hopeful sign.
