A few months back i commented on the attitude of photo-journalists in the light of human suffering. Does anyone remember the picture of an evidently starving suffering child being hounded by a vulture? Regardless of the law or the situation of things, when do photo-journalists quit being people and become sight-click-flash robots? Pictures like this disgust me why? because the picture being taken will end up in some glossy editorial where the bourgeoisie will stare at the picture and spare a second of thought for the “poor suffering people” and continue on sipping on tea plucked by exploited ‘foreign’ workers while the child here will… see? nothing good comes out of the picture being taken for the child here. When do people draw the line?
